About us...
Given today's uncertain economic climate it is logical that there may be a reluctance to commit money to salaries to increase your in-house marketing function. The Marketing Counsel's (TMC) main aim is to enhance that function without having to make that long term commitment, yet provide your business with the resource and benefits of a strategic marketeer. TMC's principal Mark Shelley has over 30 yrs experience in the marketing and advertising arena and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His extensive experience covers a diverse range of sectors including consumer, b2b, trade and technical, b2c, public sector and manufacturing. The markets worked on in these sectors are equally as diverse ranging from sportswear and equipment, fruit juices and beers to safety barriers and drilling machines. Disciplines employed for these clients have included marketing strategy, research, brand development, direct marketing, e-marketing and strategy implementation to name but a few.
